Course Outline
Classroom: Total 148 Hours.
– Steering the Ship and Helm orders
– Keep a proper Look-Out
– Monitoring and Controlling a Safe watch
– Operate Emergency equipment and apply procedure
Practice/Workshop: Total 12 Hours.
Grand Total: 160 Hours.
Training Onboard as Training Deck Crew for at least 2 months With Training Record Book
Qualification for Rating forming part of a Navigation watch
1 – Minimum age 16 years old
2 – Minimum Education Level: Primary or Secondary School
3 – Completed: Course A-II-4: Rating forming part of Navigation watch from Approved Maritime College and Completed 2 Months Sea-Training onboard International Trade Sea-Going Ship of 500 Gross Tonnage or more
4 – Sea-Training as per (3) to be trained for Navigation Watch under the supervision of the Master or Chief Officer and recorded in Training Record Book with their Signature.
5 – Have knowledge and Competence as per the Standard for Rating forming part of a Navigation watch according to table A-II/4 in the Appendix of STCW 2010

Rating forming part of an Engineering Watch
Course Outline
Classroom: Total 160 Hours.
– Watch routine and engine-room watch
– Understand order and matters relevant to watchkeeping duties
– Keeping a Boiler watch
– Operate Emergency equipment and apply procedure Practice/Workshop: as appropriate
Grand Total: 160 Hours.
Training Onboard as Training Engineering Crew for at least 2 months with Training Record Book (TRB)
Qualification for Rating forming part of an Engineering watch
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Minimum Education Level: Primary or Secondary School
- Completed: Course A-II-4: Rating forming part of Navigation watch from Approved Maritime College and Completed 2 Months Sea-Training onboard International Trade Sea-Going Ship of propulsion power 750 KW or more
- Sea-Training as per (3) to be trained for Navigation Watch under the supervision of the Chief Engineer or Second Engineer and Record in the Training Record Book with their Signature.
- Have knowledge and Competence as per Standards for Rating forming part of a Navigation watch according to table A-III/4 in the Appendix of STCW 2010

Additional Course for working onboard Tanker.
IMO Model Course 1.01 Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker

To qualify our Students to work onboard any type of Ship
Intech College’s Dormitory
Our Dormitory separated between Male and Female
All Students must stay in the College’s Dormitory,
to train them about :
- Physical Training
- Social Responsibility Training
- Safety Awareness Training
- Discipline and Self Control
- Get together both Deck and Engineering
To make them Ready for work onboard International Sea-Going Ship with confidence and knowledge
Training onboard for 2 months as Training Deck/Engine Crew.
Intech College will arrange for our Students to train onboard Sea-Going Ships to complete their Training Course
During the Training Period: Intech College and Shipping company will be responsible
for Transportation Costs, Accommodation, and Food throughout the training Periods.
During the Training 2 Months onboard International Sea-Going Ship.
Students in Both Deck and Engineering must complete their “Training Record Book” as per Marine Department requirements

After Completed Sea-Training onboard 2 months with TRB
The student will complete Deck/Engineering Rating Course
After completing Sea-Training for 2 months, Students must check their Sea-Services from the Seafarers Standard Division, Marine Department to get an official confirmation Letter.
As per Marine Department Announcement 146/2565, Students must bring their Completed Training Record Book to Intech College for Certify and final Examination,
After passing the final Exam: Intech College will issue a Certificate of Training
(CoT) for our Students according to STCW 2010
Applied for a Certificate of Proficiency from the Marine Department
Our Student will bring their Certificate of Training (CoT) and all documents to apply for examination and issuance of a Certificate of Proficiency at Seafarer Standard Division, Marine Department

Once INTECH Students get the Certificate of Proficiency Deck or Engineering
During Vocational Study years 2 and 3 for Vocational Certificate
from INTECH College. INTECH Students will work onboard a Sea-going Ship as Rating forming part of a navigation watch/an Engineering watch
whose Salary will be about 18,000 – 35,000 Baht/Month
Subject to: Size of Ship/Trading Area and Shipping Company’s Standard.

After completing year 3 and getting a Vocational Certificate
INTECH Students can apply for IMO Model Course 7.03: Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch or
IMO Model Course 7.04: Officer in charge of an Engineering Watch
To be promoted to become Deck and Engine Officer
TUITION FEES AND EXPENSES
TUITION FEES: 150,000 Baht.
